A solemn address to the Supreme Being, consisting of adoration adoration, or an expression
of our sense of God’s glorious perfections, confession of our sins, supplication for
mercy and forgiveness, intercession for blessings on others, and thanksgiving thanksgiving, or an
expression of gratitude to God for his mercies and benefits.

Do I earnestly pray for my husband’s spiritual growth and wisdom as he
leads our family?
"Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give
thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your
